What PawslyTails sells
Who designs the clothing?
We do. Every design in the PawslyTails Collection is our own artwork, drawn by us in Málaga. We do not buy finished clothing in bulk and resell it.
What is the Retrato?
A portrait of your own dog, drawn in the PawslyTails sepia style and printed on the back of any of our tees or hoodies, with their name underneath. On the product page choose Your dog's portrait under Back, upload a photo and see it drawn on the garment straight away. That is the final design: adjust the photo, the framing and the name as often as you like, approve it on screen and it prints exactly as shown — no proof emails, no waiting. Because it is made to your specification it cannot be returned for a change of mind (article 103.c of Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007) — which is exactly why you approve it first.
Where is it made?
Each piece is printed to order by our production partner inside the European Union, on unisex garments. Printing and dispatch happen within the EU, so an EU order never crosses a customs border. The blank garments themselves are sourced internationally — we say "printed in Europe", not "made in Europe", because that is the accurate claim.
Why so few products?
Because a design either earns its place or it does not. We would rather have a handful worth wearing than a catalogue nobody chose.
Delivery
How long will my order take?
Two to five business days to print, then delivery — an estimated 7 to 18 days in total. Every product page shows its own estimated arrival date above the Add to cart button, calculated for that product. A Retrato order follows the same estimate, because you approve the design on screen when you order. You get a tracking link as soon as the parcel moves.
What does delivery cost?
It is calculated by weight, so a t-shirt costs less to send than a hoodie. In Spain it starts at €3.01, in the rest of the EU and the UK at €2.61 — and it is free on orders over €50 in all of them: two t-shirts, or any hoodie or sweatshirt on its own, clears that. Why is it not next-day?
Because we are not a warehouse. Nothing exists until you order it. That is why there is no leftover stock, no end-of-season pile, and no guessing what to print — the trade-off is that it takes a few days longer than a shop that has a thousand boxes sitting in a shed.
Where do you ship?
Spain, the European Union and the United Kingdom, plus Canada. If your country is not offered at checkout, we do not ship there yet.
Sizing
How do the sizes run?
Unisex and true to size. The surest method: take a hoodie or tee you already own and love, lay it flat, and match its chest width to the table on the product page. Every apparel page also has a ten-second size finder.
What if I get the size wrong?
Email us within 30 days and we exchange it. Your first size exchange is free — you post it back, we pay the postage out to you. The garment needs to be unworn with its tags on.
Returns & guarantee
What if I just do not want it?
You have 14 days from delivery to cancel any order for any reason under EU law, and we extend that to 30 days. Items come back unworn, unwashed and with tags. Personalised Retrato items are the one exception — see above. Full detail on the returns page.
What if it arrives damaged or faulty?
Send us a photo within 30 days and we replace it or refund you in full — your choice, postage on us. No argument.
What guarantee do I have by law?
Three years from delivery for consumers in Spain under Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007 as amended by Ley 4/2022, and at least two years elsewhere in the EU under Directive (EU) 2019/771.
Orders & payment
Is checkout secure?
Yes. Payment is encrypted and handled by Shopify — we never see or store your card details. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay are accepted.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us within 12 hours and we can usually stop it before printing starts. After that it is on its way, but your 14-day right still applies once it arrives.
Do you have a discount code?
First order: WELCOME10 takes 10% off, one use per customer. We do not run countdown timers or fake sales.
Who are you, exactly?
